Carolina Herrera; Fall 2013 collection

Smart, strong, feminine, chic, confident, successful and elegant are just a few of the words that come to mind when I look at the Carolina Herrera fall 2013 collection. Combining coif hair, full skirts, silk, high necks, turtlenecks, vintage shoulder and sleeves, fur, trimmed waistline, tweed and fitting belts, Herrera was able to fuse feminine and strong together. Her words were, "This collection has great drama and emotions"; and noticeably so, I agree. The collection isn't trying to follow trends quite visible with the full skirt, turtlenecks, the absence of high-lows and cut-outs, and I think that is different, in a very good, unique and sophisticated way. Like I said earlier, the collection reminds me of a strong woman. Yep!

You can also check out more from the collection here. I also love that the collection doesn't feature unncecessary cut-outs and sheer exposing too much skin (a trend I won't even give a second look)
Ladies stay strong, and don't be afraid to be different, expressive and emotional. Be a better you and don't follow trends because they are trending, but because you are comfortable in it and not unnecessarily self conscious. A stylish woman sets trends, not follow them blindly. Find your own voice!
Stay strong! #Phenomenal Woman
